And in the blink of an eye, our little girl turned ONE on Friday. Seriously, wasn’t she just born yesterday? Excuse me while I reminisce about how she came into the world at least three hours before her actual due date (ha! April Fools joke on me) and how little she was in my arms. I remember how tiny she was and how she just loved on me and her daddy. Words cannot express my love for her. Though I have had more than my share of challenges of being a new mother again to this one, I’m so grateful for this journey as a mother of two.

For her first birthday on Saturday, we threw her a pink and gold themed princess party. With help from my creative and beautiful friend, Danicca, we transformed my house into a beautiful event to celebrate and honor her first year of life. The dessert table was our pride and joy as well as the the rest of the decor. Everything looked amazing and we’re so proud of how it all turned out! Here are a few of my favorites:
